The Horst Expo “Where The Wild Things Are” will be celestially opened during this year’s festival and will afterwards be accessible again from May 18 to July 30.

Like every other year, Horst collaborates with new architects to liven up the Asiat-site with bewildering stages.
This year’s main stage is designed by Stand Van Zaken (Doorzon Interieurarchitecten & Theo de Meyer). The design revolves around the use of simple and ordinary building materials, deployed in an aesthetic way. Largely outdoors, the main stage takes shape under the name “State Of Play”.
BRUTHER, based in Paris and Zurich, will come up with a new design for the space where Marinella Senator’s Bodies In Alliance stood. Using mostly industrial and raw materials, BRUTHER’s design will be colorful, vibrant and playful.
The original look and feel of the Moon Ra stage, built in 2021 by Leopold Banchini architects, will remain in its original integrity but receive a slight makeover.

For the third year in a row, the Asiat site β a former military site with two iconic cooling towers as a backdrop β makes up for Horstβs perfect home base. The vast warehouses, efficient barracks and spacious driving courts have been taken over by nature. In a space where time stood still, Horst brings back energy and bewilderment.
