Mala returns to Ampere for the first instalment of a series of curated nights. After a massive show back in October, there was no doubt in our minds Mala had to come back. For the occasion, he will play a special 2004-2008 retrospective set that will undeniably revive golden memories of the early days of dubstep. The old-school heads and the new generation as one, enchanted by the weight of the bass.

Mala invites his Bristol friend Joker, head of Kapsize with releases on Hyperdub or Tectonic.

This show will be hosted by none other than Sgt Pokes, who has been a fundamental piece of the dubstep community in the past two decades. His inimitable voice, has featured on many dubstep classics and has taken off the grounds thousands of dubstep parties.

Brussels-based DJ Mankiyan is also joining this curated night. Part of a boiling circle of female DJs setting up a bass music revolution in the Belgian capital, she will dictate the rhythm of the night.

Just like the previous one, Figures will close that one with a proper jungle set.
